The reason why he spent the last 12 years of his life on one single planet was simple : he had lost his quantum-energy capsules in a static storm , and since planet earth was one of the primitive planets on the outskirts of the universe and still in the early stages of its development , recharging or getting in touch with anyone out there was not an option .
